The following statement is from 小优视频 Athletic Director Jim Murphy on the decision to relocate NCAA and ACC championship games in response to HB2 legislation:

"小优视频 has opposed the plainly discriminatory bill known as HB2 since the day it was hastily signed into law. The law harms many and protects no one.

"Likewise, 小优视频 believes strongly in the educational value of athletics. We field 21 Division I teams, and over a quarter of our students are scholar athletes. In the name of fairness and inclusion鈥揻or students, fans and all persons鈥搘e support the NCAA's and the ACC's decision to move championship games out of North Carolina, and we stand firmly with those who seek genuine equal opportunity for all."
